Our engine is at the machine shop right now. Long story but we have 4 new sets of total seal rings that came with a motor we purchased. The machinest does not like these rings due to gasses getting caught in between rings and having a massive failure due to the gas not being able to escape. The ring set that we have has the middle ring as the sealed ring. So should i run these? Lets hear the truth.

I'd get rid of your machinist..."gasses caught between the rings" Thats funny...only one of the rings is "gapless"...You do the math...It is apparent that your machinist knows so little about Total seal rings that he actually thinks both rings are gapless...only one of the rings is gapless...look for a new machinist...

I've run total seal on my 700whp supra motor no problem...Some people run them in their 5000hp nitro methane top fuel motor too...hmmm...
