TRAC OFF light always on???Any ideas
Continuing my quest to clear all of my trouble lights....The TRAC OFF light is my last one. I checked the switch, it's alright on the ground side and all the way back to the Traction ECU. I checked the relays and they are fine as well. The switch does nothing as far as causing the light to go out ( but I removed the switch and tested it also). I already did the check of all the soldered connections that is listed on MKIV.com but that has no result either.
So, I am out of ideas for now. Does anyone have any that I could continue testing.

My TRAC light is out but my TRAC OFF lights stays on all the time.
Did you buy the car with the light on, or did this just randomly happen? Has the trac pump and actuator been removed? I just removed my trac pump and actuator and now my "trac off" light always stays on. Someone told me that removing the trac ecu will make the light go off, but im not 100% sure.
The light has always been on forever since I bought the car. I removed all the TRAC stuff a while back and then had the TRAC OFF and TRAC lights on along with ABS issues. I tried several resistors also to no avail. When I disconnected the TRAC ECU, then I had my O/D light flashing. Finally (since I can't stand having any trouble lights on) I re-installed the TRAC stuff.
So far, I've checked the TRAC OFF switch and the relays and they all check good. I also did the MKIV.com mod and checked all the solder joints on the dash.
