Hi,

Just traded for my first manual 94 Supra Twin. I checked all of the vin tags and confirmed it is a twin. My car does not come with the traction switch in the console. I'm not sure if the previous owner removed it or if it was an option for the dealer. Can anyone confirm if this?

Check under the passenger footwell support, where the main ECU is. That's where the Traction ECU lives, right next to it. Verify it's actually there. It has two connectors, T9 and T10, look like this :

252191

That's it right there, on the right
252192

Without that, no OEM traction control.

Thank you so much for the response. I’ll double check tomorrow and follow up. Do you know if traction control was standard for TT manual?
