What is the difference between pulling the traction control fuse out and hitting the traction control button?

Thanks

Pulling the fuse will also disable the 160MPH speed limiter. Just pushing the button wont do that.

Is that it I though there was more to it?

Many people use to believe that the timing was still retarded with the button pushed, only the butterfly in the throttle body was deactivated. Pulling the fuse eliminated the timing retard. For three years now I've never found and concrete evidence other than guys with autos saying their cars shift harder (ie no timing drop between shifts) when the fuse is pulled compared to hitting the button. But the shift firmness isn't really part of traction contol. I don't think it will ever be answered until someone data logs timing with and with out the fuse in and wheels spinning.
