Cotton Gauge type filters (such as K&N) don't filter that well, but flow the best
Good response. I am trying to stop "pointing it out" but everybody seems to think that K&N and Apexi and other aftermarket (EX: HKS TRF ETC) are the best filters available. I REALLY don't think they are.bgrieger said:I keep hearing this ITG and AMSOIL OUTFLOW AND OUT FILTER ALL mantra over and over again in different threads, but after trying a few searches for exact flow data from someone other than hte manufacturers, I have yet to find a test showing flow per square inches of filter, nor do I see any particle capture tests. I'm not saying you're wrong, and these may in fact be the be all and end all of filters, but where are the numbers? Without the hard facts, these blanket statements are about as useful as pissing into the wind...
