Wiring harnesses always seem expensive until you try to hunt down the correct terminals, connectors and wires themselves...and heaven forbid you want the oem clamps. I've got one that sits under the AFM that I want to replace so bad and it has absolutely no part number anywhere, and I can't seem to find it on any parts catalogues either. I'm sure these guys have boxes of these things that they can just reach in and grab, but in this case the headache to savings ratio is not worth it at all.
I definitely agree. I just want things done right with this restoration so I have no issue paying professional dudes rather then trying to save a couple hundred bucks. This is my dream car since being a jobless teenager and I only want to rebuild her once!

Same sentiment I have for my CRX. Replaced everything I could with new parts. The harness is still in good shape, but I'm sure I'll eventually end up with an aftermarket one, or one made by me. Really not looking forward to the latter.

Supra is closing in on completion date early/mid January she will be tuned and all put back together. Seats are getting picked up next week and from the pictures they look pretty damn good to me. Not 100% like factory but damn close! I don’t think I have deep enough pockets to make something look 100% factory. All in all I’m happy with the outcome. She is going to be very enjoyable to drive. 2 Side note:

1. If anyone needs upholstery work in So Cal this man works from his garage and is a perfectionist. The turn around can be lengthy (due to his 9-5 job) but his attention to detail and pride in his work is impressive.

2. Deeps Garage in San Diego is amazing. You definitely get what you pay for with these guys.

What clamp / plug are you referring to? I have a parts turbo harness that I borrow pieces from.

This one. It clamps directly to the air flow meter, just under the rubber hose connecting the AFM to the resonator on the non-turbo engines. It secures the harness that connects the fuel pump resistor and ignitor coil.
It's doing its job perfectly fine; I'm just being really, really OCD about this and want to get a new one just because.
Normally such clamps have four or five digits somewhere on the part itself that are the second half of the part number, but this one has absolutely nothing aside from the 13 that indicates the diameter of the wire harness it clamps in millimetres.

I don't recognize ANY of that. Aside from the fact that you might actually have Tein coilovers like your sticker (only because of the green)

And I've been under TWO of these. A lot. In the last couple weeks.

How is NOTHING caked with random "maybe power steering fluid, maybe oil, who knows?" Please tell me the OEM control arms didn't used to be chrome...

Lol yes I have some Teins. The red stuff is a full Battle Version arms setup. And no it wasn’t chrome, but both that and the differential cover are made out of aluminum so I polished out all the corrosion and it ended up being shiny. No caked on fluid but definitely a little bit of rust here and there. I will get to cleaning all of that up with time. The subframe being freshly powder coating helps with the fresh look.

^ Yep, it's Toyo p/n 82711-24070

EDIT: BTW, the one @edbods pictured with 13 on it is NOT an original Toyota clamp. It's a universal 13mm clamp which has both tab and push pin mounting.

Missed all the replies since my last post...you sure it's definitely not a toyota part? This is on a cressida admittedly, but I figured the wiring layout in that area of the engine bay wouldn't be too different from the mk3 supra. I don't think the previous owner would've messed with that particular clamp either.
Now I'm curious though. Anyone bothered enough to take a quick peek under their NA mk3 and see what's in place of that AFM bracket?

Seats are back in the car and I’m happy with the results. The leather still needs to settle a bit (back seat wrinkle) but that should correct itself once it gets warmer. Engine wire harness is in and you can see the custom aluminum piece that replaced the plastic rot cover that was there before. I will have some of these made later for those that are interested in replacing their own rotted out engine harness covers. The car is pretty much done and just waiting on a dyno. I am shopping for rims and love the Advan GT Beyond’s but they do not have the color that I want. And Volk TE37s apparently are not available for the MK3 Supra size. So we will see what I decide with that.

Pressure sensor plugs into the harness and the IAT sensor is in the back of the intake manifold.I think the pressure sensor sits on the firewall.

Awesome pictures! God what a beautiful car! :D
I'm very interested in your total suspension setup - once you get some miles on it, I'd love to hear your feedback and details on alignment settings, etc.

That's... not true. There's quite a number of good sizing options still available for a MK3 in 17, 18, and 19in depending on the specific TE37 model. What sort of sizing were you looking for?
