What an awesome weekend. The weather turned out to be exceptional, although a few might have sunburns.:D There were so many good times, the Texas MKIII crowd is made up of the coolest people, everyone had such a blast.

The only bummer of the weekend is our buddy Dan SupraMkiii24 got run over Saturday morning near the hotel by someone that ran a redlight, Just happy Dan is okay, but the car's seen better.

Some of my many highlights from the event:

My wife got to meet all of the MKIII crowd and had an absolute blast partying with everyone,

Getting to see everyone again and to meet in person some more of the friends I've made on here, Jayson (Idealsupra) and his friend Kelly (psifactor), Orian @ 7m powered, Elvis (Satan), Ryan (Xscurry), Ryan from the Dallas Crew, (forget the screen name), Dantheman, Mashed Dough, Cresent City Supra guys, all of the AAP guys from Atlanta, Dusty at MPV, Peter Blach and many more,

Talking FSTOY into not throwing in the towel after he blew an IC connection on the dyno, fixed his piping issues, then turning around and taking back his first place MKIII Dyno award with 644RWHP, all the while receiving a standing ovation from all the MKIV owners,

The BBQ parking lot party Friday night,

Definitely the line of 15-20 Supras hauling ass down I-10 to the drag races,

Hanging out partying with everyone at the Dyno Day,

..............and personally for me winning all of the MKIII awards at the carshow!:p

Here are just a few of my pictures and I'm sure the thread will grow throughout the week as everyone gets back home and settled in.

Thanks everyone for a such a memorable TX2K5!

Mashed Dough, Johnny Dangerously, Idealsupra and PSIfactor!

I wish I made it... I should've... I kick myself for not going...

Anyway, put up more pics... And drop some vids, we all wanna see them...

he is doing ok... sore but not injured. at least it was his n/a and not the turbo he was desperately trying to get ready for the meet. if it had been his turbo the shit would have really hit the fan... i'm sure he will post up soon and let everyone know whats going on.

sweet, glad you got to meet a few of the Fla guys. i was planning on making it but had a few hangups and problems with registration and insurance...

oh well, kelly shoulda ran her car on the track. sounded like the only other 1J was pulling 15' seconds. kelly would hit low 13's easily with some sticky tires... and i see jaysons car in a few pics, not bad... no shots of all the blue clouds of smoke ;)

guess ill talk to them when they get home...

Was very nice seeing and talking to everyone who came in for the event. Sorry to hear what happened to Dan. Got home around an hour and a half ago (stupid I-10 construction traffic) from San Antonio Raceway. A few of my pictures:

Hey everyone, Thanks for all the kind words. Yeah shit sucks with the N/A. I was a little bummed out because I had put my life into that car for the last 2 years. I've been looking on the bright side thou telling myself atleast it happened right after I bought my 90T that way I'm never left without my beloved Supras. But hey what could I do the man ran a redlight no fault of mine at all. So whatever it was not in my hands, and all and all it'll be more motivation to get the Turbo finished and running well once I am back to normal. I'm doing very well sorry to take so long to respond they have me on Hydrocodone and Naproxen and I slept like a baby. I have no major injures just got a bit of whiplash and my neck and upper back are hurting like a B**** but I suppose that's to expect. Thanks for all the kind words. Also I could NEVER thanks Lance, Dave, and John enough for all they put forth to get the BBQ the way it was. It was absolutely amazing great to meet and make SOOOOO many new friends, it was a great set of guys/girls and it was great to spend the weekend with everyone.

Im surprised 91Supra-B and I some how scrounged up you guys for that photo-shoot with what little light we had left. The shot turned out pretty nice, and the SCC mag guy took a few shots of us lined up, so who knows maybe the group might get famous :) :p I think I'd take the highest Mk3 ride height award if they gave one out  :(

Nice to meet you Xscurry, I remembered who you were when I saw your SN here on SF, sorry it didn't ring a bell when you told me, nice headlights by the way. Same goes with meeting DiscoStu, Eistein, MkiiiNA, Christian, and all the Dallas guys, hope you got home safe.

Dan, sorry about the car man, I probably would've been a little wuss and cried :(

Hopefully all you guys can come out to another Austin meet, and break the 24+ MkIII's we had last time!

I had an incredible time, this being my first Nationals event. I cam in with Rajunz to the show-n-shine, which is either lucky or unlucky... luckily I got to park beside him. Unluckily, his car made mine look bad :( Anyway, FSTOYs car dynoing was impressive (the second time ;) )) and I was certainly among those cheering for him. This was the closest I've ever been to any MKIVs and I have to say I was impressed, although when I buy one I'm gonna keep my MKIII. The BBQ was a lot of fun, I finally got to meet all of the DFW crew and several others. The cruise to San Antonio was great, we managed to get a lot of good footage for the video I'm making of the whole event. I took about 200+ pictures but it may be a while before I can get them up. This was also the first time I had ever been to a drag race... and I was impressed, needless to say. When FSTOY, MKIIINA, and the other MKIII owners did their runs, I was very proud to own a 3rd generation Supra :D . And of course, proud to have it make it all the way home without a problem :) After the drags we went to a restaurant in Austin and had supper, then me and my friend headed home. Now I'm here :)

All In al I had a great time, I wanna go to Vegas now :D
