Ignore the layers of dust as it's been in the garage for a while and normally you can eat off the engine in this thing. More photos once it's all back together and I get a chance to clean it. I've got most of what I was working on done.
I put in a 200 amp alternator as well as a 4 gauge alternator/power wire I made. I also swapped out the Saab intercooler for an aftermarket piece that's 3" thick and will support plenty of airflow. I also added a Perma-cool tranny cooler behind the front mount with a SPAL 9" fan in between them. I had to redo the plumbing to match up as the intercooler has different inlets and outlets but it matches up well now. I also added a GReddy Type R BOV to the mix to prolong the life of the turbo. In the second photo you can see the GReddy BOV attached to the black intercooler pipe right by the exhaust cross-over pipe as well as the aftermarket cooler I added for the power steering pump. I hope to have it back together and on the street again tomorrow. I have a few other things that I need to install yet (Big brakes for the front, Autometer tranny temp gauge & a remote tranny filter kit) and should have it all done soon. Here's the photos:
Well, waddya think? Thoughts? Comments?
