I found a engine that in good condition. Only thing is that they are just selling the engine. No harness or ecu. Im wondering if I can buy a harness or use my existing harness with a 6spd ecu since i have a 5spd. Id prolly run with the stock tranny den go with the r154. Any suggestions? Oh yea and the clamp that hold the alternator is broken. Is that a major issue?

it may be easier to get a soarer 1jz ecu and harness.you might only have to change some sensor's and run the turbo's parrelel

isnt that doing too much? If its a 2jz y should i get a 1jz harness and ecu?

i don't think your electronic's from your 2jzge will work on a gte motor.if you can't use your's,you can probably get a soarer harness and ecu cheap.there is quite a few people with sc300's with 1j swaps who could help with wiring questions.i'm just saying this because i haven't even heard of 1 2jzgte swap into a sc300 on these boards.i'm not saying there isn't any out there,but support from people on these board's have helped me alot in the past.just a thought
