I've searched these forums and can't seem to find the answer.

I've been lookin to do the ttc. There are more than one method to do this.

One is this way:

These have one way vacuum check valves. Why exactly are they needed?

Here is another way:

Here they don't use any at all. What will be the repercussions of this type of method?

Also the Electronic TTC here:

Still no Check Valves in this way also. It shows having the risk to damage the pressure tank, and also putting a check valve on the outlet side of the pressure tank. I guess this is to protect it?

Any input would be great. Thanks!

Umm Bump!? Also, Why is it not needed in the permanent way to put check valves isn't the pressure tank still needing to hold pressure?

i've done ttc this way all the time http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/articles/andy.htm, but i only leave the car in ttc for a few hours, then I put it back to sequential. when I use this method for ttc, doesn't seem to have any negative effects, aside from no low end power.

Rereading the article, it seems that the jdm way can be considered a permanant way to go ttc. No where does it warn you of the hazards of prolonged use. Anyone else have experience with it?
