So one of those old and very wise mechanics told me that you can adjust a screw on the VAF to make it run richer or leaner.

He said the screw was hidden under a piece of rubber and then showed me where it was on a 22re that was sitting in front of us.

This was shocking to me because ive never heard of this before.


He said that he used to have some customers come to him asking for a little more power, he'd adjust this screw a little and the custie would love the difference.

found it

so i had an old broken vaf laying around and decided to see whats under that cap.

and there she was just waiting to get screwed

when i unscrewed it, the screw was a valve so yeah iam sure its some kind of meter valve
