I think a few people have taken their supras to car aid to do valve stem seals and people have said many good things about them. I think i remember seeing their address and number in the california tuner shops on the Cali page.

whats the usual labor charge for it? I called Quality Toyota and they said about $1,200 for the job (They might give me a wrong price so you can call and confirm). Steve, msg me. I might be able to to help. You have been to our shop a few months ago. JT/Junior (supraboy4life) gets his hondas done over at our shop and Im sure he can vouch for us.

Gimme a call at the office at 951-808-0231.

George or Moe @ Car Aid in Tustin can take care of it no problem. Great work and great pricing. They come highly recommended by RSA SUPRA (Ryan Hawkins) himself. Everytime I drop by they always have at least one supra they're working on.

Moe gladly spent a whole sunday helping Curtis and I install Curtis' new HPF FMIC, when they were closed to the public. So they're quite helpful

That's their website. Give George a call and tell them Jason or Curtis or Ryan Hawkins sent ya.

thanx for the referrals guys... im talking to car aid and dynoxtreme at the moment....

caraid tells me that removal of the head and changing head gasket is not necessary, while DX tells me that it should be done....

moreover, my supra has high mileage... what do u guys think? any input is greatly appreciated.

If you have the money, you should rebuild the engine.

Around $650 for the valve seal versus around $3000 for a rebuild.
