Initially when I was running the MAF I had the long Garden hose connected from the Air Idle control Valve to my intake ;

Now with the VPC installed there is no need for this tube bu heres the kicker; do I cap the Air Idle control Valve or leave it open and rig a filter up?

I was unable to find anything on MKIV.com or on Supraforums.

Thanks in Advance!

Setup is a VPC and GCC if that matters. The car will run with a raised idle with it capped.

Thanks

just put a KN filter on the IAC. I wouldn't cap it.

Are you running a VPC with the IAC filtered? Is this the definative answer on whether or not it should be capped or not, or is this from personal experiance?

Thanks!

IACV gives the engine air at idle. Cap it=no air= no run:( Put a filter on it like everyone is saying.

I never ran the garden house to the turbo intake b/c I bought the VPC with the Single. Just put a K&N breather on it. No issues to date with this set-up.
