vpc for map sensors?

Hi all, i've noticed that lotsa members replace their restrictive MAF sensors with the vpc. I'm currently on the J spec MAP sensor and was wondering if at all this would be a worth while upgrade. Anyone out there with MAPs who have done this upgrade? Some light on this matter is much appreciated.
