Just curious as to what the vpc does other than remove the maf sensor. I'm running a jdm motor and ecu so I'm already without a maf only map sensor. I'm going with a small single and i've heard lots of good things with the vpc/gcc setup, however it seems that the vpc is just there to remove the maf while the gcc does all the fine tuning. am i wrong?

Yes, the GCC (or SAFC) is to fine tune. Since you are already MAP, you shouldnt need the VPC, just add an SAFC II and let 'er rip.
