I had a "check engine light (code)" for a Vehical Speed Sensor and I noticed that my odometer was not keeping track of my miles. So I changed out the VSS and it reset the ECU. It worked for about 24 miles than I got the same code and the odometer again was not keeping track of my mileage. Any ideas? Oh yeah, and yesterday the part on the dash that has the check engine light and oil light etc.. was not working, so I tapped on it with my finger and it came on. I check the connections and they seemed to be fine. so any help please.
thanks
chris

While driving check to see if the odometer is clicking off miles when the check engine light is on and off.
