I have a problem building boost down low. My car will not build boost while powerbraking or below 4500. I think I traced it to a leaking VSV. Its the one on top of the turbos towards the back of the motor. I tried bypassing it and just connecting the two hoses. I believe those go between 2 actuators. When I did this I got less response down low than before.

Can someone please advise me how I can test/bypass this to see if that is really my problem. My car is completely stock other than DP & Exhaust.

Thanks

I have tried TTC, and did the VSV mod neither effected it. I just replaced the Pressure Tank and its still doing the same thing.

It spikes to 4lbs then falls down to around 2, 2nd turbo hits 15 and runs ok. Max of 15lbs with hose pulled off front VSV.

Please advise..

Thanks in advance

Doing TTC the temp way still rely on some of the components to work properly. Try to do it the permanent way and see if you get any better results. If you're bpu, running TTC with an auto isn't that bad. I'm actually loving mine. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but doing TTC with the check valves, require the check valves to hold the pressure to keep the vsv open.
