Hey Guys...

I Just Blew my 1994 engine and got a very good price on a 1998 JDM 2jz gte engine!!!

Will this engine work on my car?

Im "driving" ( when my engine isn`t blown) with AEM ems and a large single upgrade...
Will The VVT work as well as the "older" 1993.5-1996 engine or do I need to modifie the wiring !!!
Or should I just get the "normal" engine again???

Thx...

Runi...

all you need is a new block, so if the VVTI is cheaper then a new block then go for it and use the block with your old head.
Sorry, But my whole engine is fucked!!! Blew my nr.1 piston half way trough my head, while the rod whent trough the side and bottom making a hole as big as a football :( ...
So what I ment was the entire engine...

Thx...

get a older one. don't just settle for the VVTI just cause you are gettin a deal. having to rewire a car would suck remember the VVTI cars have the OBII computers and the wireing a alittle different. Just replace witha a non VVTI TT motor and you should be fine.:)

VVTi is useless. It's largely an emissions control device, and requires a different computer/harness/etc to actually operate.

Just get a normal engine. It'll be a lot cheaper in the long run.
