my buddies totally stock TT was only producing 8psi all the way to redline in all gears. we couldnt figure it out for the longest time.

last night we were snooping around the wastegate vsv and saw that it was unplugged. the harness was taped off too. therefore done on purpose.

my question is, why would you unplug the wastegate vsv?????

After the previous owner put the car back to stock he probably forgot to plug it in.

yeah but whats the purpose?? for a boost controller, ttc mod, what??

yeah for a boost controller you have to cap the two valves on the vsv and the one on the top of the wastegate.
