I took off my downpipe to tighten up some coolant hoses that I hadn't tightened enough and were leaking. When I get my downpipe off, I notice there is a clear liquid condensation inside of the EGCV housing. I get some on my finger, smell it, then taste it. Pretty sure it is water.

What could this mean?

I wanted to know what it was, it was less than a drop.

Didn't taste like anything. Not like it could have anything bad in it. Carbon, fuel, oil, and the only bad thing is coolant. I breathe in worse by walking outside.

nothing bad? shoot. it could have bacteria or something . i dunno.

you have nothing to worry about. i noticed it on my red car also. when i took the downpipe off, i had water condensation in the EGCV housing.

if it's a coolant leak, you will be blowing white smoke everywhere... and then you would have to refill your radiator all the time.
