What does the liquid look like? If it's bright green it's coolant. There are two coolant hoses that could drip on the cat. One is easy to see, the other is more difficult. One is about 1.5 feet long, the other is about 8 inches and bent at 90 degrees. Feel around these hoses. If you feel coolant on them then one of them is leaking and needs to be replaced.

If it's a coolant leak make sure your rad is full before you drive anywhere, and only drive if the leak is very very slow, like a very slow drip. Watch your temp guage.

I can't think of any other liquid that could splash on the cat. Good luck!
