It's around 200. How could you find 500 extra pounds just in some turbochargers and associated plumbing?

As per the Toyota Sales Manual for a 1996 Toyota Supra:

N/A = 3275lbs.

TT = 3485lbs.

My 95 is a 5sp hardtop and I had it weighed at VIR by a friend of mine who is a NASA official last year. With about a half tank of gas and no driver my supra weighed 3213lbs.

then these numbers are wrong because a hardtop is much lighten then targa. All the extra reinforcment needed for a targa adds a lot of weight.

Nope, those are the exact numbers quoted in the sales brochure for a 1996 Toyota Supra.
