I'm looking for weight listings for cars, in search of something lightweight to play with when i get a real car.

here's some numbers i've gotten from the net, correct with your own heresay if you want.
s14: 2689 lbs
s2000: 2835+ lbs
rx-8: 3029 lbs
z06: 3130 lbs
E36 M3: 3174+ lbs
IS300: 3254 lbs
Evo: 3263 lbs
Accord: 3264 lbs
350z: 3247 lbs
Mustang: 3484 lbs
G35: 3486+ lbs
sc300: 3516 lbs
volvo s60r: 3571 lbs
audi s4: 3660 lbs
db9: 3764 lbs
new sc430: 3840
acura rl: 3984 lbs
charger srt-8: 4160 lbs

I could've sworn there were some lighter cars out there. These first results are a little unexpected for me, z06 & m3 being lighter than the Evo & most everything else. I would've thought G35 or some other new cars would've gotten smart and dropped some weight. I also thought the db9 would've been lighter.

Looks like the plan is still a M3 with an engine swap. The S50 was a nice engine, but absolutely huge & weighs quite a lot, so I'm told. Swap engine, rip out some body panelling, maybe lighter seats, be on par with an RX-8? Thats unreal.

Which M3 is the E36? The current M3 weighs like 3500 pounds.

Yeah it could really use some extra power, it redefines the word 'slow.'
