I'm running a ct26 turbo on my 1j with the stock ct26 wastegate. I have a greddy boost controller spec profec b. I've been running this setup for three years never had a problem until now. The boost controller is set and tuned at 21lbs. Now only in first gear i'm getting 8-10lbs all the other gears are normal boost 21lbs. Any ideas? I'm thinking my wastegate is fine because if it was a wastegate issue i'd see the same boost drop in all gears. Could it be my boost controller solenoid or maybe the unit as a whole? Any help is appreciated.

Maybe it's not under enough load in first gear to reach that much boost. With a ct26 it seems like it would spool quick enough but with my 67mm, I would only get about six or seven pounds in first gear until I went with a stiffer wastegate spring.

This is only a guess relating it to my own personal experience. I could be way off.

Well its a 60 trim ct 26, i been boosting 21lbs in first gear and all gears for 3 years, all of sudden 8-10lbs at the most in first gear. I don't think that greddy boost controller tunes in each gear individually does it? If thats the case maybe the setting for first gear is got screwed up?? Its weird though
