...So just out of curiosity, I know we have pretty much carbon everything now. Hoods, seats, rotors, building are being made of them in the future possibly. Just wondering though, what about other car parts? Like valves, pistons, crankshafts? Possible? Logical? Reduce heat, weight, etc? Thoughts?

The one thing you may see them using is carbon nano-tubes for parts like the ones you talk about but the only think these have in common with CF is their makeup (of carbon, haha). However, this won't happen until there is an economical way to mass produce nanotubes...and even when they do figure out how to, cars will be the least important benefactor of the technology. :)
