Hey guys,

unfortunately, i broke the bracket of my Apexi front Intercooler today. This bottom bracket took a piece of intercooler off with it. approximately 1" x 2" .

My question is,. is this fixable? This is where the driver side bottom bracket piece.. I was told that welding aluminum will be expensive and might not work (easy to break off again)..

am i better off to purchase a new FMIC or should i fix it? Yes, money is a concern too..

I live in SJ area, anyone know any good place to have it repair?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated...

please let me know ASPA to [email protected]

thanks

Weld it. A hell of a lot cheaper then a new intercooler. Any decent welder can do it. Most BOV flanges get welded to the aluminum intercooler pipes so it shouldn't be an issue to weld the bracket back on. Cost me $40 for a BOV flange to be welded.
