Well sort of....after 2 long, dragged out months of various complcations, my car is finally back up and running.

Many things are still temporary in the bay, just so you know before I am flamed for anything that looks unfinished lol.

Mod List:
SP71 GTS Single Turbo (4" DP and MP, Tial 44mm Wastegate)
HKS Ti Racing Exhaust 4"
SP Fuel System (1000cc injectors, 2x Walbro pumps, aeromotive fpr)
SP Racing Intake Manifold
AEM EMS w/ 5 bar map sensor
AEM Eugo Wideband Controller
HKS DLI Ignition Amplifier
Greddy Profec Boost controller
Greddy 4-row FMIC
HKS Type II BOV
RPS lightweight flywheel+6 puck ceramic disk (however long that'll last now)
Volk Racing GT-C Wheels f:18x9 r:18x10
BF Goodrich KDW2 f:245's r:285's (soon to be drag radials)
Crower Ti Springs and Retainers
HKS 264 Camshafts
Titan Adjustable Cam Gears
PHR polished upper radiator pipe

and i'm sure there's other stuff lol

Car made 567hp @ 18psi with the timing pulled way out due to a faulty knock sensor so we had to cut tuning short and didn't even get a chance to mess with the race fuel yet :(. When the timing ran more agressive (as much as safely possible for pump gas) it pulled 515hp at 13psi (on the wg spring) with no knock. Hat's off to Lance at Toyomoto for achieving that figure. Sensor is replaced and now the new logs look good. Hopefully tuning next week at 30psi+ and putting 800+ to the ground.

I would also like to extend a special thanks to Larry and Tim at Sound Performance for their awesome customer support and setting me up with a badass turbo kit. The 71 GTS is kickass, that turbine wheel is so loud when it spools and full boost comes right on line at 4500 in the logs and feels just like true twin did as far as spool, only so much more power.

That's really nice... Stock body, nice wheels, all business engine bay.

I am envious of your ride......a clean, red, 97, stock body, single turbo'd Supra. Not much more I'd ask for :D

THanks for the compliments. I'll have videos up sometime soon. Texas DVD is number one priority :bigthumb:

This summer the car is going to get a fresh coat of Rennaisance Red paint, since there are kinds of little rock knicks you can't see in the pictures. Then I'm gonna put on a modellista front lip and call it a day for the exterior. Hopefully some new rotors, painted calipers, and maybe coilovers.......ah the list never ends lol.

yeah i was shocked, especially since it was on like the thrid pull lol. Lance can tume aem :bigthumb:. My guess is the intake manifold is helping make power, so we'll see how it does on high boost. There aren't many 71 setups with upgraded intake manifolds etc. Most people just look for 550 pump for the street with this turbo. But I'm curious to see how it does with extra supporting mods like the manifold and some higher boost levels.
