I plan to put my 3.91 gears back in. The 4.10 doesn't suit my setup as well. I'll sell the gears down the line, it's just such a PITA to swap this stuff

Other 8.0" G-series R&P setups should fit the MK3 pumpkin without issue.

So why is it so damn hard for us to find gears then? A 5.29 detroit locker should fit with a little modification then... i think that sbc supra should have one...

So i stand corrected...

I said R&P, not diff. A 5.29:1 would probably fit fine, a Detroit locker, not so sure, probably some issues with that. (Axle size, stub length, and so on).

I can provide you with part numbers for gear sets for a bunch of ratios from Toyota. They're more than most people want to spend though, I've found.

I've got part numbers for a few higher gears for the 8", around the 3.4 - 3.5 range. Finding them used would be difficult, new, a piece of cake, as long as you've got the cash.

Hey let's have those part numbers, I might be needing a 3.4 or so; I may be going auto so I can get me a nice 10.X time slip!

Okay, here is the hoe down:

- Ring & Pinions out of a 4wd V6 Truck or 4Runner will fit into a MK3 Differential(3.54 to 5.71)
- You can use a Torsen Differential Posi in a non Torsen Differential Rearend as long as you change the stub axles.
- 3.54, 3.90, 4.10, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, 5.29, & 5.71 Ratios are available NEW.
- Detroit Lockers, Truetrac Positraction, and other truck/4runner locking differentials will NOT work in a MK3 Supra Rearend.

Trust me we have tried and have had no success, yet! keyword yet!
