Saw an HKS complete main gauge cluster (Speedo, tach, gas, temp) off of their T-001 Democar from 94 the other day, allegedly a 1 of 1 piece. Looked clean with the old school HKS orange gauge markings.

I have a black metal box, looks like and amplifier or something, it has BNC port, so I'm not sure if it for a phone?
It came with my Supra when I bought it, it was in the trunk, the brand is HUGHES Technologies, who makes satellites and military communication systems, I think its SUPER rare.

I will post photos later, but if you can help me identify it , I would appreciate it.
PS, it might be a phone satellite for Toyota/lexus.....

That's not a satellite phone, that's an aftermarket car phone. Hughes made a bunch of them back then and in the pre-cell phone days they were popular installs in higher end cars, particularly California models. You'll find them in a lot of 90-95ish BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc cars, especially from original owners.

A supra owner emailed me asking If I new where to get these OEM parts from the Euro market. I was shocked that I have never heard of these options.

-Euro Rear Fog Light
-Headlight washer

The rear fog light was only in Germany. Example when the car is parked on the side of a two way street with cars lined up parked on both sides and there is a narrow path to pass between both sides of cars, with the rear fog light switch on it lit up one or two rear lights in bright red to warn people that there is a car parked. Another function was under heavy fog turning on the switch allows people behind know that there is a car in front of them as they are three times brighter them the running tail lights.

The headlight washer system was available in the UK and Norway.

Time for some carbon hood shocks Ken!

Man, can't get enough picks of Blackie!

Steve
Me neither!

That specific Supra is the one that started it all for me, back in the T04R.com days. What a magnificent beast!

I have a new stillway 0-400 sequential v160 shift kit.
Time to protect that beloved getrag without missing a shift.

Considering installing it due to the soaring costs the getrags are fetching now for parts and rebuilds.

Thanks, Steve. Appreciate the kind words. Would love some hood shocks, but the Do-Luck hood is quite a bit heavier than the OEM aluminum hood. I haven't checked them out closely. I could be wrong but I always thought weight was a problem for universal hood shocks.

T04R.com. Now there's a blast from the past! See you in a few days at SIV, my friend. Looking forward to it!

Ken, you can buy hood lifters/shocks in a wide variety of strengths and lengths. Look into the Strong Arm brand for an example. All you need to know is the compressed length, extended length, and pounds of force that you need.

Nice Ken!

What's up with the ARC support arms? Are those rare? My Supra came with one like 11 years ago and I just found it in storage.
