That gap is not normal. It's a hood fitment problem and if the size of the hood allows it you might be able to adjust it forward enough to close that to normal as well as the space above the headlights. But the fitment on some hoods is so bad they don't allow proper adjustment for gaps.

Thanks guys. Had been looking without luck. Also is the spacing between the hood and bumper normal? Is there something I need to get? Bugs me every time I see it.
Yes that is normal. The OEM hood uses self centering bolts for alignment. What your missing in that gap, is the OEM rubber seal, and the bumper retainer that holds it, and is fastened by the 5 plastic push in clips through the bumper.

Yeupars. Missing the rubber seal and the hood needs to come forward a bit. Easy fixes.
