What can boosting too much do?

just wondering but i am running about 1.35 to 1.45 bar. I am eventually going single turbo but, by boosting this high, can i do internal damage to the motor? Or what will be affected if you boost too high?

1.45 is high for 93 octane. The knock sensor on the supra is pretty good so you will feel loss of power if you start pinging. get some higher octane fuel if you want to run that high of boost.
