what do I need for a driveshaft when going NA to TT?

I got a TT driveshaft but the rubber piece between the shaft and diff do not bolt up. Like the bolt pattern of the rubber spacer is slightly larger than the diff. Is there a special spacer I need or do I need to replace something?

the tt driveshaft is meant to bolt up to the tt diff, the input flange is a different size between the na and tt cars. you need the tt auto or 6 speed diff to go along with that driveshaft.
you need the TT rubber coupler and flange off a TT diff, I'm still using my N/A diff. Try putting up a wanted ad you can get these for alot cheaper from the guys here than at Toyota.
^^ its not just the TT rubber coupler he needs......... if i remeber correctly from doing my swap both of the TT Auto And TT 6spd coupler are the same, he DOES need it, but thats not all he needs.

you need to get the TT companion flange for the TT AUTO differential, i will bolt right into the 5spd NA differential and the holes will line right up to the TT rubber coupler

and also a question, are you doing a tranny swap? exactly why are you replacing the driveshaft?and what kind of drive shaft is it? AUTO OR 6speed?

reason i ask is b/c if you keep the NA diff, the 6spd rear half of the driveshaft wont work with the NA rear, you need the auto rear half of the tt driveshaft....
Alright, I always get extremely confused on this question, lol, and need to get it right as I will be working on the swap myself.

Ok, the 5-speed NA rear and the Auto NA rears are exactly the same correct? Meaning that as far as the rear goes, all I need is the TT companion flange from an AUTO TT differential and the TT rubber coupler. That settles the rearend.

As for the driveshaft, what the heck do I need. I thought it it was the TT Auto rear half mated to the 6speed TT front half. Then everything bolts in all fine and dandy correct?

^^correct, im not 100% sure, but im pretty certain that the na autos and 5spd diffs are the same, so yes, you need the TT AUTO companion flange and the rubber donut, the TT AUTO REAR HALF driveshaft and TT 6SPD front half of the shaft, but thatst if you are doing the 6spd swap, and yes, everything bolts right into place, check out the sticky for the 6spd swap i did, theres some helpfull info :)
what tranny are you installing? Aristo,Supra? I used the Aristo auto tranny in my swap and needed to swap the yoke flange to a TT flange on the tranny and cut off an inch or so off the output shaft so that my auto TT driveshaft would bolt up.
