Hi all,
I was quoted a price for a upgraded ct26( 60-1, 10 deg clip) turbo,
Lexus AF meter, 550 cc injectors with o rings connectors and clips.

This is the price below.

$1220 shipped for everything, Turbo, afm, and injectors complete

Do you think this is a good deal or will I be able to pick em up cheaper piece by piece???

Thanks for you inputs .

It sounds like a pretty good deal, because the way you make it sound, you aren't having them upgrade your turbo, you are getting another, already upgraded turbo, and it includes shipping.

Jeff you are right. I am getting a turbo from them , no core charge. That is the reason for this post, im trying to gauge the savings i will have by looking at upgrading my turbo or getting one from this guy. I live in San Francisco area so i am debating sending my turbo to PT.

Thanks for all the input guys.

well lets see:

with that price youve got

1220- shipping (prob around 60-75 bucks damn heavy turbos) so youre looking at around 1150 if it was in your hands..... then subtract the price if you sell your existing turbo for say 150?

thats 1k for an upgraded turbo, 550s, afm, and clips/orings

afm=150
turbo=500
clips/orings=40*
550s=300*

*ive seen a few ebay auctions for brand new lucas 550s plus orings and clips shipped for about 350 buy it now.

neways so thats about 990 bucks if you bought those seperately.

so 990 is pretty damn close to 1000.

so id say its the perfect price to sell and buy. all depends on the guy you are buying from and the condition of the turbo..because take into account this turbo is used (im assuming) and if you got yuors upgraded it would be brand new possibly with warranty.

i personally would take the route of getting mine upgraded for that simple fact of newness and possible warranty.

Thanks once again for the insights to pros and cons.
