Does anyone know what the the ECU adjusts based on the readings from this sensor? if The CSI switch controls the fuel ratio for cold starts what controls the timing advance/retard?
A 650RPM variation between plugged and unplugged would suggest a link to the timing ( assuming each sensor only controls a single function ie, If the CSI switch only controls the fuel aspect of a cold start) then there should be a single sensor to control the timing.
if this sensor does control the timing would it be worth the time to install a variable switch to manually control the funtion?
