In my head, it's flocks of attractive women with weak knees yelling my name. In reality it's weirdos like us with the "thumbs up" or "what year is that" etc lol
Though I have had an encounter with some chick in a slammed 240 yell "I love your car" at the stoplight and the barista at my local coffee shop called it "cute"
If only, Suprabruhh, if only...

Yep, to me the MKIV's look too much like a Mitsubishi Eclipse, thought Toyota missed the styling cue with it.

@okinawa-supra,

Hey, my friend, does your post above mean your romance with the RHD cars is over?

When mkiv came out my friends and me were like wth it’s like a big jellybean. Oh the headlights that was another styling cue we weren’t used too, after changing from pop ups and they were just huge
That's quite interesting. I assumed it would have been very futuristic for the time since the car still looks modern enough. But at the same time 93 was just leaving the boxy boxy/curved look of things so I could see it being a turn off.

Ken, I definitely miss my LHD with the HKS Twins, i would love to find a shell to swap everything into.
Meanwhile i acquired Jason's @TheProPilot old twins and ima throw em into the RHD Supra. (when i have time).

To be fair, Mitsubishi copied the Supra's styling, not the other way around. The 2G body style came about in '95, and the hoop wing as pictured didn't come until '97.
It's only the prevalence of the 2G Eclipse in those popular '90's years compared to the rarity of the MKIV Supra that really sets that precedence in many people's minds.

The Eclipse was a US-only phenomenon except for a handful of '97 Eclipse Spyder convertibles that were done in RHD for the Japanese market and exported there, so we were the only ones to deal with that issue, really.

On the opposite side of things, I'm the person that runs in to you while you're out with your Supra and blabs about your own car. I ran into this clean 92 this weekend, and about the same time I took this video to send to a friend (screenshot of the vid, and my phone's camera lense must have been smudged) the owner walked out. I was so keen on studying it. The front half of the car from the cowl forward looked so hot. In person, that power bulge hood causes things to bulge. lol. Hopefully the owner isn't on SF and he never reads that comment. lol. Anways, I was so very pleased seeing such a nice conditioned Mk. III, a white out package car, and a '92 at that! I think it may have only been the 1st, or 2nd, 92 I've seen in person. Plus, it's a white out package car! Quite frankly, I got quite nostalgic, and after having seen his car I got quite keen on wanting to get in to a white 89+ again. I'm also pleased to report that white TT Mk.IV wheels still look solid on the Mk. III body after all these years.

Chevydude if only the mkiii came with those wheels from the factory. Car looks sweet with the drop on those wheels.
I have a sneaking suspicion they were designed for the Mk.III during the JZ70 stint and never got approval, hence why they look so nice on the Mk. III body. Then when the Mk. IV needed some wheels and they were like, hey we've got these old Mk.III wheel designs lying around let's see what they look like----> Yeah, it works; go with it. I think the TT wheels look fine on the Mk.IV, but they look good on the Mk. III. I think modern designed wheels look great on the Mk.IV, and I think it's because wheel design caught up with the progressive styling of the A80.
