I am trying to find a way to clean my maf but the maf cleaner i bought says do not use on supra turbos... Anyone else encounter this?

CRC makes a maf cleaner, that works with plastic maf's and I dont see why that wouldnt work?

i believe that can would be talking about the mkiii supra turbos that use a Karman vortex MAF and that cannot really be cleaned with a maf cleaner, and can be killed if using a chemical cleaner on them,and is kind of useless as you cant reach much of anything with the plastic shielding the mirrors and sensors..... you should be fine to use a normal maf cleaner on the mkiv maf i believe.

done, the obd-i 2jz-ges came with karmen vortex sensors but the 2jz-gtes were hotwire.

you aren't a someone and i was only talking about the gte motors. as that was his post was about, ie, talking about supra turbos on a maf cleaner, and the only supra turbo that came with a kv was the mkiii. thanks though

ive used crc on other vehicle maf sensors and it worked fine, i had a vehicle where the maf sensor was damaged from using those k&n filter cleaning kits and in that case i was forced to buy a new sensor
