I am in the process of installing one at the moment and am (to say the least) very excited as to what this turbo can do.

Mind you this is on stock fuel, cams, and intercooler.

Thank you in advance.

What A/R?
with a .70 ar you should expect about 480-490rwhp
you ware looking at 550 i think with stock fuel and IC the ar on the to4 is .96 i belive i suggest with this kit you do fuel asap!
I dont know of very many TS04's with the big .96 housing. More than likely it is a .70 and will be around 450 to 490. I dont think the TS04 can flow enough for 550rwhp without cams and an intake manifold. I am not sure cams would be a good idea on that turbo either. Maybe one of the experts can chime in on that one.
Hey Ced, keep in mind, on a small turbo like a TSO4, an intake manifold and cams won't help. At that point the turbo will be the bottleneck, not the intake manifold or the cams. I'm not convinced an intake manifold helps unless you are in the 640 or so rwhp range...

Thanks Pete, thats what I was thinking also. I need to read up on cams a bit. What cams are u running? How was your idle and drivability affected?
With the SP60 I hit full boost at about 36-37k. With the SP63 I hit it at aobut 39 to 40k.
Expect 470-515rwhp on a TS04 with a .70 A/R.

Mine dynoed at 489rwhp/497rwtq and running extremely rich, with it tuned, I expect 500+rwhp easily!

Good luck!
Hey Ced, I am running HKS 264 cams... The driveability is just like stock... Sometimes the idle is a bit lopy (is that a word?) but it's never that bad. I would NOT go bigger than the 264's. I think the 272's are too big, even for a bigger single...
My brother has the RPS kit with a Ts04, I believe with the .70 A/R.
He has VPC, AFC, stock fuel, Greddy FMIC. This combo probably produces around 480-500rwhp. Pulls great!

Peter B.
Installed the Profec B and car is holding boost just fine now(no overboost!). No spiking, I set it and it holds. EGT's are 780-790c on an highway run @1.0 bar. Me and steve are going hunting tonite;)
Hey scot, damn man, i didn't know steve had a single!!! Damn, that's crazy! Anyhow, yea, the profec B worked great on my car too, until i tried to go over 24 psi, it wouldn't let me. 24 psi was the most i could make on the boost controller...
You need to get your car on a dyno (and steve's!).

Is your TSO4 ball bearing??

I know of a certain someone with a '93.5 TT who's using a 315 cam (custom grind). Try to imagine that one. Picked up 50rwhp over his previous HKS 272 cams though.

A .96 a/r is silly for a ts04

A .58 is probably optimal - certainly no bigger than .70
