i have a component set of 6" rounds and 1.5" tweeters

hertz space 6 (thin design speaker, super loud and SQL)

was $500 and had to custom install but it was totally worth it even though i mainly listen to the exhaust with the windows open and stereo turned off. ;)

After doing some searching I understand that the Supra uses 4" up front and 6.5" rear speakers.

Could someone recommed me a set of front and rear speakers to replace my OE (Please list make/model). Not looking for anything fancy and not looking to make brackets, etc. Just looking for decent aftermarket replacements that will bolt right up for a reasonable price.

Also I do understand that majority of the aftermarket speakers in 4" use the 4 hole instead of the OE 3 hole. I will go with the 4 and make an extra hole in the factory plastic braket.

For OEM fronts @ 4" off the top off my head:
Pioneer
JBL
Kicker
Infinity (kappa)

Most are 2 way. Peronally can't go wrong with any of them but research for your liking. (I would favor the Kappa's). Some are 4 holes and some are multi drilled so you could rotate it for a lucky charm fit.

Rears, 6.5" - Take your pick at the cream of the crop.

Recently was in the same boat but just went ahead and made the bracket to run 6.5" up front. Ended up using Alpine type S all around-GREAT sound considering I'm limited to the OEM radio w/o Stock sub and not splurging on $. More than suffcient for my needs as my ears are more engine tuned.

MMats Pro Audio makes some very good german made components. Morel is also a great german made speaker company. I haven't heard the Hybrid Audio, but ive heard good things about them. and Massive Audio,Sony,Kenwood and any other mainstream e-bay stuff i wouldnt waste my money on!

^^^you know, sony, kenwood, and others found on ebay havent originated on ebay, they have been around a loooong time before ebay and many of those manufacturers do have decent choices in varying price ranges. i have owned an MMats sub before and it was a beast and a good sub, but i havent tried out their mids and highs.

by the way, i dont see the bike you had as a teen in your sig........

Do more research, convert to 6.5's up front. I'd spend all your money on the front stage. Get the best speakers you can afford, the front end is where you'll hear most of your music, the rear is only fill honestly. I'd second hybrid audio, look into their imagine series, affordable and easier to install if you want to keep in coaxial mode since it can also switch into component mode.
