A dash kit, I purchased the car and it came with an ugly wood grain dash kit...I let it be for some time now, and the kit has started to peel...so I want to remove it entirely...How should I remove it? Heat it up? what?

Thanks

You'll probably have to heat it up, but I would plan on buying a new alluminum or CF dash kit, because I'm sure that you dash is going to be f'd up after you peel off the woodgrain.

I got it off, I heated it up with a hairdryer...but still alot of grey 3M looking glue was left, was a [email protected] b*tch to get off...but it looks good, couple marks but nothing bad, just curious if that carbon fiber dash group buy is still around somewhere?

Thanks

Goo Gone works greate for things like this. You can lift up one edge of the wood grain panel and squirt it underneath to dissolve the glue and slowly peel/squirt untill the whole thing comes off. It is also good for removing any of the left over glue.

Damm stuff is amazing.
