Ok I will be ordering my wheels in the next 20 days. I need to know how big in the rear I should go and how big in the front. I'd like to go as wide as possible on the rear and keep the front street driveable. I don't want to get pulled all over the road changing lanes with my 18x10 fronts Anyways I was thinking 18x9.5front 18x11rear but want to know if I could go wider. This will be a daily driven car and occasional track car when I get back home. I don't have my coilovers yet but I will have them soon. I am going with Tein HA or RA coilovers. I will also be running a big brake kit on the car. Basically I was told the wheels can clear the brake kit but I need to know if the teins perch sit lower then stock. I also need an offset and tire recomendation for my ride. Thanks everyone!

I was told go 235/40 and 275/35 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position.

Also I was told 245/40 and 295/35 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD.

Now I've heard great things about the BFG but also I have had S-02's and I love them both rain and dry.. So any suggestions or anything? Also I would really like advice on thep roper offset and the tein situation.

Assuming you are will to trim your rear fender lip slightly (about .25") and bend the tab at the top of the right front fender, this is what I would recommend. Basically if I had it to do over again this would be my choice. BTW I currently run 18x9.5" 50mm offset 275/35R18's front and 18x10.5" 55mm offset 295/30R18 rear. I have no problems with the tires pulling on grooves in the pavements etc.

18x10" 50mm offset 275/35R18's front and 18x11" 50mm offset 295/30R18's rear.

If you want to be more conservative and have no fender mods then run 18x9.5" 50mm offset 265/35R18's front and 18x10.5" 55mm offset 295/30R18's rear.

If you want to be more daring and do more drastic fender cutting (about .7") then go with this setup.
18x10" 50mm offset 285/30R18's front and 18x11.5" 47mm offset 315/30R18's rear.

The easiest way is to usually find some wheels you want and then list the available widths and offsets.

Thanks so much, I was hoping you would chime in. Post was amazing. I was told not to go to wide in the front because of the pulling. I would really like to run 11.5x18 rears but is that 18x10 front really needed? Also The wheels are completely custom I give them the specs they make them so you tell me what I should tell them because we all know you know your stuff.

As for the teins should I see a problem with where the perch is located? I was told if below stock perch like on some coils I may not be able to fit the wheels.

Edit - My main thing is I want to buy these wheels and do it right. I want to keep them for a while. I look at the FEB SCC with Nils L. and Ken H. featured in the G-Games and it says Nils with 18x9.5 245/40 fronts and 18x11 285/35 rear got 1.009g on the skidpad. While Ken with 18x9 245/40 fronts and 18x10 285/35 rear got .948g on the skidpad. Both with tein coils and Nils with TRD Sways. What exactly mad such a difference the sways, the driver, or the wheels? Maybe even the coil settings but lets keep it simple .

A lot of the difference was probably in the alignment.

Use the specs I listed above.

If you go really wide in the rear you need to increase the front to maintain the balance. Your suspension will help you dial in the balance with tire pressures and and shock/spring settings.
