Hey i'm about to install my Autometer Pro-Lite Boost Gauge, I didn't buy the pod pillar, but did get a "mounting cup"... I was wondering where you guys have cleverly mounted yours? Also what exactly did you tap the light source on the gauge to, the dash lights?

thanks a lot,

Nick

60mm in the center vent. I hate those damn a-pillar pod's.

hey...

Does anyone have any pictures of it mounted in the clock location or in the vent? How big is 60mm? I think my gauge is 2 1/16 inch? how does that compare? thanks,

2 1/16th is 52mm. That is the size of the stock clock location. As others suggested, the clock location can be bored out a little to fit a 60mm gauge. As for pics - look in the tech section of www.mkiv.com .

Mine is on the A-pillar.
At least I can see it without taking my eyes off of the road.
Maybe we should just get a programmable Heads-Up-Display (HUD) so we could project whatever we wanted!
