99.99% sure it is $6~$8 per qt at Super Autobacs.

Call the service department to confirm just in case. They will tell you for sure. If you call the infomation line. The lady is not likely to know a thing.

Why not use Royal Purple MTL (Synchromax) instead. They also carry this, cost sould be the same as Redline MTL.

who knows... I don't drive a supra, my rsx-s tranny is dying on me (2nd/3rd grind), and i know acura wont honor the warranty b/c i have a turbo kit on it.

i'm stuck trying the 'switching tranny fluid' trick. all the rsx people are going with the redline. I have no substantial proof that it's better than RP MTL, other than the fact that it seems to work.

i'm probably going to head down there maybe thurs-fri after my paper is due.. so I have some time... care to explain why RP would be better?

thanks!

There is another option. "GM GM Sychromesh Friction Modified". Search on S2000 or NSX forums for user reviews. I am sure some RSX-S owners are also using it with good results. People who have gear grind seems to have good results using it.

As for Royal purple. You can read more about it here:

I personally only use Royal Purple. But I can't guarantee that it will work better than other products.

Good luck, hopefully whichever MTL you end up using will greatly help.

The general consensus on CRSX.com is that GM syncromesh goes to shit after about a month.. which is why I wanted to look into redline or RP.

I'll read the stuff though, thanks for the links!

did some reading, and the information on the forums is really biased.. and not really too consistant.

I have no fucking clue what I want to go with now :(

I can either stop by the Chevy dealer here in foothill, or go to dynamic autosports and pick up redline there...

soo.. i mean, i have both options avail now. Not sure about the RP though.. just not that much info on this crap.
