Which out of the 2 exhaust to get?????

I have used almost every exhaust for the mkiv in some timeor another on my past supra or ones that I have worked on, and must say that the Super Drager is one of my favorites. Right now I am using the HKS Carbon-Ti, but on my past T04R supra, I went back to a Drager for the deeper and more mellow sound (rumble) I love the N1 and too since its like the HKS Hipers too, but personally indifferent about the GT spec. Just my two cents.

i hear the ATR sounds nice, u got any sound clips on it???

I suggest the HKS Ti... it sounds very mean. I absolutely love it.

It's all subjective.

I love my Dragger, it sounds awesome, but the craziest exhaust I heard (short of the TI) is the HKS JDM Hiper exhaust. My buddy has one that he had on his car for a while (he now has a Super Dragger) and I put it on my car for a few weeks. It sounded SICK, but it was too loud for me becasue of my TTC.

The exhaust is in Irvine and is for sale... Not to sound too biased or anything.

I have an Apexi GT-Spec cat back exhaust without the silencer and she sounds mean and aggressive especially when you put your foot into the accelerator pedal. You might want to check into it and come up with your own opinion as to which exhaust you prefer, but I think you would be happy with the Apexi GT- Spec.

does the atr come with a silencer? and if not is it possible to make one? it sounds like the one i would want but it would get annoying on long trips...

Speedracer, are you in San diego, if so , you think i come come by and check out that bad boy in action sometime so i can hear it in real life. It will reall help.

Also how big is the piping on the super dragger 3, 3.5????????

I loved my ATR... and I have heard almost every JZA80 TT exhaust out there. The ATR is the deepest and 1 of the 3 loudest.

However, it only has 3" piping which will become a restriction after 500hp or so... if you are planning on making big power it's probably not the best route to go.

I have an N1 With Dp and it has a pretty aggressive sound. Plus its great if you are on a budget. I like the dragger but it is a little quieter but at throttle up has a sweet sound. Mine sounds more like a v8 . The hks ti is BADASS!! expensive unfortunately. The tanabe racing medalion was sweet when i heard it on a NA mkiv. Im sure it will sound just as nice on a tt. Suprastore.com has a few sound and vid files under some of their exhausts.:boink:

I think the TRD GEN 2 exhaust sounds real SICK. I have it on the 98 TT 6spd with a RMM /DP.Its a straight-thru design very low restriction.

It reminds me of the days when I had my 63' Dodge Max-Wedge with the 426ci X 8 under the hood!

Don't they custom make upto 4" exhasts for people?

The sound is incredible. You will NOT, NOT, NOT be disappointed. I am soooo happy with my HKS Ti it's not even funny. Drive up to Raleigh and I'll let you hear it first hand!

I already have a super dragger and love the way it sounds, so I was wondering how I would like the HKS Ti. I know it is louder, but just not to sure if it would be to annoying for me.

I really don't go up to Raleigh to much, but the next time I do I'll have to try to meet up with you.

BTW, man your wheels look good. Thats one huge rear lip. They go together perfect with your car color.

The Ti doesn't annoy me. If it did I could always put the silencer in which makes it much quieter than my old Power Extreme. The Ti IS loud.. but in a very throaty, menacing way. Reminds me of a V8 with a wide open exhaust. At around 4-5k RPMs it sounds like it's about to rip your head off. VERY cool in my opinion.
