I`m having a hard time about which turbo I should get for my new setup. Currently I have a Turbonetics GTK1000, 76mm but I`m not happy with it. It`s now an oldschool turbo and I see all these GTX`s and Precision`s.

My goal with the car, 900rwhp. What turbo would you suggest?
I`ve seen the thread in dyno tuning about the 6466 pushing over 900rwhp, is that a good one? It just seems to be too good to be true.. My car has stock compression.

Specs on my car:
• Brian Crower 280 camshafts, 11.48mm lift
• Ferrea 1mm Oversize valves
• Shimless buckets
• Ferrea Valve guides
• Ferrea Valve stem seals
• Ferrea Valve springs
• Ported head like a Stage4/5
• Turbonetics GTK1000 turbo. 76mm AR 0.96
• Greddy T88 exhaust manifold
• HKS 60mm wastegate
• HKS HiPower 4” exhaust with downpipe
• JUN style intake manifold
• Greddy 3 Row intercooler
• Sard Fuel Rail, Sard Fuel pressure regulator
• Injector Dynamics 1250cc (Prototype)
• AN10 fuel line from tank to Y dual AN8, AN6 return
• Balanced crankshaft, stock 3.0
• 86mm 8,5:1 JE pistons with custom piston rings
• Carillo Rods
• Greddy Adjustable camgears
• Powerhouse Racing breather kit with AN12 braided lines
• SuperSpark coil packs
• Billet Tensioner bracket
• Powerhouse Racing upgraded oil pump
• AEM V1 ECU
• HKS DLI Ignition Amplifier

Looking forward to some suggestions.

Have any pictures of your setup? I'm curious what a "Jun style intake manifold" is....? Thanks, sounds like a great setup!

7175 would be my choice. 6766 could do it too but barely.
Why not the 7675? I usually see you pushing that turbo when 1000hp plus is asked. You have me confused since I was planning to step up from my 6765 pte bb to the 7675 pte bb. What gives sir? lol

I think because the op wants 900whp vs 1000whp

lose the 1250cc injectors and get some 2000cc's, lose the HKS DLI and coils, and get some GM coils.

7675 is what we are currently running and is maxing out at 1035whp

I think the 1250cc`s will do the job for my power goals, even if I step up tp 1000rwhp they should be able to push enough fuel since I`m not going E85.
7175 as Larry says have been in my mind for a long time, also the 7675 but I think that one will be to big. Would be fun to get 1000 at the wheels though.
Don`t you think my coils and DLI will support 1000hp? At the wheels?

Jeg har 7175, 1260cc dyser og begge deler rakk til 894whp på Bjørnstad Bil sin dynapac. Men da var det tomt for turbo og ja.. :)
