Does the main reinforcement bar need to be removed? I have tried to prefit the bumper with the reinforcement bar in place but the problem is when I need to fasten the new bumper to the top mounting bar (where it meets the hood) it ends up being about an inch short of reaching. I have also tried to fit the bumper without the reinforcement bar but that brings up other problems. Have any of you had similar problems?

Thanks
Rob

I think you do have to cut out the bar in the front. I've heard the ero and j-spec Supra's don't have that bar in the front. Something about US crash testing. I would want to have something welded back in it's place.
