Curious to see if we have any exceptionally rare Supra owners here...
I've always been a fan of the 98 RSP 6 speed with black interior.

Only 95 painted in Anthracite, 1 of 18 TT 6 speed hard tops, winner hands down.

Are you sure the information on those production numbers are 100% accurate? I thought I read somewhere here that they were slightly off but I could be wrong.

Is there any info on wingless production/ shipment numbers? I believe this was a dealer option but would contribute to a rare makeup.

we can be sure that these #s are not 100% accurate. Examples include two anthracites noted already in this thread of years that the chart say didn't have anthracite; there have been two threads on here in the past from people with '93 Alpines (not on chart) etc. So I figure it's best to look at the chart as sort of a good estimate.

My buddy has a white 6sp hardtop, I don't know what year it is though.

Ken Henderson's MSB wingless hardtop IMO is the rarest car out there. Lots of factors make my decision but stock twins/black interior/wingless/low miles seals the deal. I feel as if its a 1 of 1 car.

I second that! I think there are other important factors to consider in regards to rarity other than production numbers. His MSB is an example of that.

My 94 NA 5sp hardtop is 1 of 79 :D

Well its not listed in the totals, but I have a 94 Anthracite TT Auto Sport Roof. And yes it is a 94, Ive had people argue with me that there is no way it can be. Ive even had Curt print up the window sticker.

I used to own a 95' 6spd original Anthracite car that according to that chart above never existed. So I know for sure it's not 100% accurate.

I'd say Sharkey has an ultra rare car. Hurrikaine's '98 IJM car he had was really rare too.

even being a 1 of 9 or 1 of 77 car for whatever reason (year, color, tranny) that the rarest supras are the low mileage stock ones. Those are what will bring the most value always and are the hardest to find.

There are so many variables and variants to consider to make this nearly impossible to identify without solid production numbers lol. Are we talking about production numbers from the factory? This would be different than talking about current rarity. (IE if everyone wrecks/ destroys their red cars now except one; red Supras are now the rarest despite high production #'s). If you include mileage in this equation; this is completely controlled by the end-users over many years so it would be very subjective to narrow down as it is constantly changing.

In other words: production numbers are static. Mileage will change by the day.

Maybe this should be added this to original post so everyone can clarify?

CURRENT STATE?

Thanks for posting what I was thinking . If it's about rarity from the manufacturer then we know that Canadian Spec had the lowest production number. Out of those approx 230 cars how many were Alpine TT 6sp's , or Hardtop White TT's with black interior ? Truth is we don't know true production numbers so it's anyone guess :(

I believe he can print yours if you give him the VIN, but I may be wrong. I happen to have both my original ones.

Well: two types of "rare" IMO...

1.Original OEM Toyota production spec rarity
2.Current market mileage rarity

And if you can combine 1 & 2... You have something truly special. ("current market" meaning how many exsist today, that have not been wrecked and so forth)

Example: a ren red with 150 miles on the ODO versus an RSP 6 speed with 250k miles on the ODO. Sure, the RSP is rare in production but, its likely that the ren red car is in fact "more rare" due to the fact that the miles are so low compared to what is out there.

I've got a 93 6 Speed Anthracite Cloth Front Seats Winged Hardtop Twin Turbo with 150k miles and she's never had more than an intake/exhaust, but that's not even the rarest 1A1 in this thread...
