i need a shop anywhere in south florida from westpalm down to miami that has a track record rebuilding r154 soarer trannies and does it in a timely fashion

Any tranny shop can rebuild this, I just took mine to my local AAMCO, came out perfect.

get nunezz to rebuild it, he charges $550. he redid my v160 and its perfect.

you'r looking at 400 labor or so + parts. The R154 is much easier to rebuild that the V160, I had 2 V160's rebuilt and they're much different from the R154. No need to ship it off, save your money and find a local shop.
