Or is it possible to fit it into a MKIII housing?

If not, what kinds of back ends are recommended for a MKIII with a 2jz? (the current stock is on its way to go bad)

Thanks!

if your still using the r154 then just rebuild or get a aftermarket lsd.

if your using the 6spd ull need the lowest gearing possible and it will be a lot of custom work

R154.
So the best option would be to get that fixed up and add a LSD? Which LSDs are recommended? car is going to be used for both normal road driving and a bit of track.

I'd stick with a MKIII diff then. Kaaz and cusco are the aftermarket LSD i know of. After that the gear ratio is your choice. 4.30 will be pretty quick off the line but your gas mileage will suffer compared to a 3.73 or 3.91.

TRD is a good choice or simply rebuild a stock LSD with new clutches. We have the parts, let me know if we can help you out.
