I am trying to avoid taking out my tranny in my car only to have it sit in the stall waiting for it to come back from being rebuilt. I have thought of buying a core and sending it out to be rebuilt. Now for my question.

Can an auto tranny from an Aristo work in my OB1 Supra? Also, can a tranny from an OB2 Supra work on my OB1 Supra?

tailshaft is different on jdm trans.
It can be bought at toyota though for like 100$.
