my passenger side window won't go up. i had it at about halfway and tried to put it up, but it didn't work then i put it down and it went down...now it's all the way down and it won't go up! what could it be?

I think that I have heard of this concern about 5 times this week alone.

Here is just one of the many threads about it.

Can you still hear the motor?<---If you can then it is most likely the contact patch on the switches.
